KRC’s 9th Annual Awards Dinner will be held Thursday, June 11, 2009 from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Hilton Harrisburg.

Please join KRC and our friends and colleagues in the progressive community as we honor former Pennsylvania Senator Allen Kukovich, a tireless champion of Pennsylvania’s working families; Pennsylvania State Education Association (PSEA) President Jim Testerman; steelworkers’ leader Jim DeBord; and Service Employees International Union (SEIU) activist Carol Jones for their service to KRC and the community.

The Pennsylvania Budget and Policy Center

KRC is the home of the Pennsylvania Budget and Policy Center (PBPC), a nonpartisan, statewide policy research project that provides independent, credible analysis on state tax, budget, and related policy matters, with attention to the impact of current or proposed policies on working families.

The Pennsylvania Fund for Workforce Solutions (PFWS)

KRC helped catalyze and provides staff support to PFWS, managed by the United Way of Pennsylvania. PFWS supports Industry Partnerships that are creating employment and advancement opportunities for lower-skilled adults. The PFWS is a collaborative of Pennsylvania's leading funders and a site of the National Fund for Workforce Solutions.

KRC is a Member of EARN

EARN is the Economic Analysis and Research Network, an associattion of of state and regional multi-issue research, policy, and advocacy organizations. includes 54 organizations in 39 states. EARN is coordinated by the Economic Policy Institute (EPI) and works with a broad range of other national organizations.
