October 2026 Update- Keystone Research Center is Hiring an Industrial Decarbonization Research and Policy Specialist
Keystone Research Center (KRC) is an independent, nonpartisan, research and policy organization, the mission of which is to promote more broadly shared prosperity. KRC seeks an industrial decarbonization research and policy specialist who can lead KRC’s responsibilities as a subawardee on a significant Commonwealth of Pennsylvania grant program. This specialist will work in collaboration with KRC’s Executive Director, who is also the principal investigator on KRC’s subaward. The successful candidate will be employed by KRC at least 75% time through September 2029 with the possibility of a one-year extension. The salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and must also be compatible with the budget of KRC’s subaward and KRC’s salary scale. PA’s exciting new $396 million RISE PA program offers companies a 30% to 60% subsidy for small, medium, and large “industrial decarbonization” projects. It will pay for: electrification, energy efficiency, industrial process emissions reductions, fugitive emissions reductions, fuel switching, on-site renewable energy; carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS); and other steps to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
